Mr.
Mr.
Macias received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and
Society from the University of California, San Diego
and his Juris Doctorate from the University of California,
Hastings College of the Law. While in law school, Mr.
Macias completed a judicial externship with the Honorable
Stuart R. Pollak of the California Court of Appeal,
Fourth District, as well as an externship with the Workers'
Right Clinic at the Employment Law Center in San Francisco.
Before
joining the firm, Mr. Macias practiced civil defense
litigation where he represented both public and private
sector clients in suits involving tort liability, business
disputes, and employment-related matters. He also provided
advisory assistance to private sector employers regarding
compliance with state and federal labor and employment
laws by drafting and preparing employee handbooks, personnel
policies, disciplinary procedures, and hiring and employment
termination documentation.
Mr.
Macias is admitted to practice in state court and the
U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts
of California. He is located in the firm's San Diego
office and practices in the Workers' Compensation and
Civil Subrogation sections.

In 1987, Mr. Badger attended the S.D. Inn of Courts
College of Advocacy and was admitted into the S.D. Inn
of Courts Louis M. Welsh chapter as an Associate Member
in 1990.
Mr. Badger initially practiced
civil litigation, but by 1987 incorporated workers'
compensation defense and workers' compensation subrogation
into his practice areas. Mr. Badger is a State Bar Certified
specialist in worker's compensation. He was a partner
at Mullen, Plummer and Badger from 1994 through 2008.
For over 20 years, Mr. Badger has represented a number
of cities, counties, school districts and insurance
carriers in workers' compensation and civil related
matters.
