Mr. Oberjuerge graduated summa cum laude from California State University, at Long Beach where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and obtained a Certificate in Legal Studies as a member of the University Honors Program. Thereafter, he attended the Pepperdine School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and received his Juris Doctor.

While attending the Pepperdine School of Law, Mr. Oberjuerge was a member of the Law School’s Negotiation and Trial Competition teams and was an Associate Editor for the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary. As a student, he was awarded the California Award of Legal Excellence in the area of Torts. Additionally, he worked as a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew of the Unitd States Central District Court.

Mr. Oberjuerge is admitted to practice in California as well as in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and is a partner in the firm. He has been successful on the California workers’ compensation certified specialist examination and works in the firm’s San Diego office, practicing in the area of workers’ compensation defense, LHWCA, subrogation, and general civil litigation matters.
